Passion for the Pitch: Legends Cup

>Back in the spring of 2022, an idea was hatched; several people in and around our Soccer in the Streets community tragically lost their lives. Death is difficult for all of us, but even more so for our youth.

>The purpose of the Legends Cup is to lift up the memory of our lost friends and open up lines of communication with the kids through the experience of sport.

>For this year's event, the team hosted 12U girls' and boys' tournaments at our StationSoccer West End location. The honoree was Jacob Wooten, a young man who attended Flat Shoal Elementary, one of the schools we are very fortunate to serve.

>Here are some pictures from the event. Thanks to Deidre Ousterhout, our Eastside Program Manager, for supplying the images.
